Last Stop Beginner Guide (September 2026)

Last Stop is a bus-survival game by The Hidden Route: you repair and upgrade a broken-down bus, then drive it toward the final stop 95,000 meters down a zombie-infested road. Along the way you scavenge abandoned buildings, sell what you find, buy weapons, manage fuel and hunger, and defend the bus through waves of zombies and bosses. This guide covers everything a first-time survivor needs.

The core loop, in one paragraph

Every run plays out as a journey: drive the bus, stop at checkpoints and buildings, loot them for items, sell loot or use it, repair and fuel the bus, then survive the next stretch of road and its zombie waves. Distance is progress โ€” the deeper you get, the richer the loot and the harder the fights. A run ends at the Last Stop (success), or when the bus and its passengers can't go on.

Controls you actually need

The controls are simple, and knowing them cold is half the game:

KeyAction
ClickGrab action / shoot
ZPlace build / attach
EEquip (or use item)
QDrop item
RReload gun
TABInventory
YInspect

Use Y (Inspect) on anything before you sell it โ€” condition changes value, and some 'junk' is actually craft material for the workbench.

Scavenge, sell, upgrade

Looting is your economy. Hit every abandoned building you can safely reach, fill your inventory, then sell at shops to build cash. Cash buys the weapons and supplies that keep the run alive. A few rules of thumb:

Prioritize fuel and food over shiny weapons early โ€” runs die from empty tanks and empty stomachs more often than from weak guns. Keep the Revolver once you own one; it's the community's must-keep sidearm for the whole journey. Sell duplicates aggressively: early cash compounds into better gear before the mid-journey bosses.

There's also a workbench crafting system โ€” the Crafter badges (Crafter I at 25, Crafter II at 150, Elite Crafter at 500 crafted items) exist for a reason. Crafting turns looted junk into supplies, so inspect items before dumping them.

Fuel and hunger

The bus burns fuel, and you burn food. Both are checklists, not vibes: grab fuel cans at every stop even when the tank looks fine, and keep food stocked for night stretches. If your runs keep ending mid-journey rather than at a boss, logistics is your problem โ€” not firepower.

Combat basics

Zombies come in waves at night and at certain checkpoints. Melee is free damage with no ammo cost, but it puts you in grab range โ€” swing, step back, repeat. Guns are safer but ammo is finite; reload (R) behind cover, never in the open. The real skill is positioning: most deaths in Last Stop come from being surrounded, so fight with your back to the bus.

Classes and Tickets

Tickets are the meta-currency that unlocks Classes in a rotating class shop โ€” from the 750-Ticket Medic up to the 18,000-Ticket Ghoul. You earn Tickets from runs and from codes โ€” 2 active right now worth 750 Tickets together (last verified September 2026). Don't overthink your first unlock: solo players do fine with Carpenter or Driver, while squads should grab the Medic immediately. Our class picker tool and tier list break down all 12 options.

First-run checklist

  • Redeem the active codes before anything else (FRED and UPDATE1 โ€” 750 free Tickets).
  • Fix the bus, then loot the nearest buildings โ€” fuel and food first.
  • Sell everything you don't need; buy a ranged weapon when you can.
  • Keep the Revolver, sell duplicates, inspect before selling.
  • Save one fuel can and one food item as an emergency reserve.
  • Aim for the first few checkpoints, bank the Tickets, and unlock a class that fixes your biggest failure point.

One warning

There is a different Roblox horror game called The Last Stop (the train-cart anomaly-spotting game). If you're searching for guides and keep seeing 'anomalies' and train carts, you're reading about the wrong game โ€” everything on this site is about the bus-survival Last Stop.

Last Stop is in Beta โ€” specifics can change with updates. Spot something off? The officialDiscord has the latest developer word, and oursources page explains how this guide was researched.
